Yellow Room – Fireflies

We are the Fireflies! Here are some activities you will find us doing in the Yellow Room:

Circle Time: At this time you will find us  welcoming each other with song and movement, checking attendance, watching the weather, going over the calendar and presenting the Pledge of Allegiance.

Center Time:  Students have the opportunity to engage in various activities art, fine motor and large motor activities. During this time teachers work with individual or small groups on activities involving art, letter and number recognition. As well as other age appropriate skills.

Writing: In this room, the kids are starting to write letters and their own names as well. They are so proud that they can draw animals and people, too!

Field Trips: We begin our fun adventures in the summer, we visit different places outside of school and the kids enjoy it so much. The best part of all is being able to bring a “sack lunch”!
