Orange Room – Butterflies

As our babies and crawlers become more mobile, they move into our Butterflies room where they can move around and “Toddle Around”.

Here’s what you will find us doing in the Butterfly Room:

Motor skills: The kids are starting to use their muscles to climb, bend, stomp, walk, and run inside and outside of the classroom. They improve fine motor movement by finger-painting, squeezing and rolling play dough, tearing paper, holding up Sippy cups, and so much more.

Circle Time: You will find our teachers helping the kids to learn nursery rhymes through songs, pictures and body movement. Children are also taught how fun books can be by listening and watching the teachers’ animated voices and faces while reading.  Letters and numbers are also introduce through songs, as this is a fun way to learn!
